Reigate and Banstead Police Safer Neighbourhood Team
Dear Residents, Welcome to the Police Update for the last week. The message includes personal fraud (Scams), burglaries, catalytic converter and vehicle thefts reported between the 7th May 2026 to 14th May 2026. The report also includes information on arrests in the Borough.
Car Crime This week there have been 1 report of a suspected theft from car and 0 reports of attempts to gain access to vehicles. Arrests. There were 37 arrests in the period May 7th 2026 to May 13th 2026: Domestic Incident/Violent Domestic Abuse 8, Rape/Sexual Offence 3, Drunk/Drug Charge 1, Violent Crime in a Public Place 2, Violent Crime Other 3, Crime Public Order 1, Knife/Blade Possession 1, Child Protection 2, Child Neglect 1, Master Occurrence 3*, Robbery 1, Theft 1, Vehicle Crime 1, Criminal Damage 1, Immigration 1, Fraud 1, Burglary Business and Community 2, Prisoner recall 1, Out of Force Enquiries/Warrant 1, None of these 2. *A Master Occurrence is used when recording an arrest where a number of offences are recorded for one incident.
Personal Fraud (Scams) in the Borough. Records show that there has been 1 report of Personal Fraud in the Borough during the last week. Attempted suspicious withdrawals from a Bank account, stopped by the Bank.

Central 09/05/2026 Between 10:00 to 22:42. Frenches Road, Redhill. Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Not confirmed at this time. Stolen: Including 5 Watches, Ring, Cufflinks, Camera and Cash. (PR 45260054078)
